The Winchester MP met the team up in Parliament a few weeks ago as part of a national climate change initiative, and was pleased to be able to catch up over coffee in Winchester city centre.
They discussed a range of issues including the future of WinACC, and its position as a campaigning organisation, an educating body and an opinion-former.
Steve said: "It was good to be able to meet Tom away from the hustle and bustle of Westminster, and speak about a range of local issues, and say that I'd like them to work on looking at the existing housing stock and their emissions right across Winchester."
Steve also used the meeting to pay tribute to WinACC's founding member, the late Robert Hutchison. Steve had supported Robert when the group sought funding from Winchester City Council around a decade ago, and was sorry to hear he had recently passed away.
