Steve Brine visited Colden Common Primary School on Friday 24th November, as he took a tour of the school and had a catch up with headteacher Frances Hardy.
Top of the agenda was discussing the permanent enlargement of the school and Mrs Hardy showed Steve some of the options on site.
During the course of the visit, they also discussed children on Education, Health and Care Plans and the challenges that provides for the school, as well as the importance of lifting the pay cap.
Steve said: "It was so good to meet Frances who's been Headteacher at Colden Common since the start of the year. She is a clearly committed head and a great asset to the children and parents.
"I was keen to visit to discuss the permanent enlargement of the school which has recently been consulted upon. I look forward to working with Frances as this is delivered for the start of the September 2020 school year."
Steve also invited the school to visit Westminster via Parliament's Education Service, which has been enjoyed by dozens of schools across Winchester & Chandler's Ford.
