The Review of Park Homes Legislation – Call for Evidence Part Two, was published on Tuesday 28th November, and is seeking views on how well the Mobile Homes Act 2013 is going.
The Government is in particular looking for evidence on how well the local authority site licensing scheme, and the procedures for selling mobile homes are going, as well as how making site rules and reviewing pitch fees have worked.
Further opinions on using the CPI or RPI index on pitch fee reviews, whether 'fit and proper' controls need to be applied, and how local authorities can be further assisted in their duties are also welcome.
Steve Brine, a long-time campaigner for park home residents, said: "This is an excellent exercise, and one which I hope that park home residents, and there are many, across Winchester and the wider district, can take part in."
The Call for Evidence will close on Friday 16th February.
