Steve Brine has welcomed the progress for 30 almshouses to provide care for the elderly in Chesil Street and Colebrook Street.
The Winchester MP has been a long-standing supporter of the charity, headed by Clive Cook, and is delighted to hear that the designs are set to be made public.
He said: “I know the homes will have a number of great features, including wet rooms, level access, green roofs and roof terraces, and I can’t wait to see more as the project develops.”
The MP's comments came as he met up with Chief Executive Clive Cook and Chair of Trustees Martin Lowry to discuss the project in detail.
