A group of members of Alresford Girl Guides visited Westminster on Monday 22nd October.
The group met with their MP, Steve Brine, after a tour of Parliament, and were keen to tell him how interesting their tour of the ancient Palace of Westminster had been.
Steve was able to tell the girls about his work in the House, and told him how they valued the importance of social media in keeping up to date with news, current affairs and politics, particularly as they all follow his Facebook page and see what he gets up to day to day.
Steve Brine said: “It was great to welcome Alresford Girl Guides to the House, and to be able to chat to them in Westminster Hall. I hope they enjoyed the day, including Defence Questions which they were heading on to.”
