Andy Lai and Steve Brine MP

Steve Brine spent the afternoon of Saturday 27th April in Colden Common as he supported the man looking to be Winchester’s first ever Chinese councillor.

The Winchester MP was out with Andy Lai and his large team as they knocked on doors and spoke to residents about a range of issues that matter to people living in Colden Common.

Steve said: “I have to say I cannot remember such a positive session with such an enthusiastic and downright inspiring candidate in Andy Lai.

“Sure, there was frustration over the national situation, but it was very clear that local people know that Thursday’s elections are about the nuts and bolts of sound local government here in the Winchester district, and Andy Lai has clearly made a very positive impression.”
