Steve Brine has declared he is backing Jeremy Hunt to be our next Prime Minister following Theresa May’s announcement that she is to step down.
The Winchester & Chandler’s Ford MP worked closely with Mr Hunt during their time in the Department of Health, and Steve says that the Foreign Secretary is steely, pragmatic, persuasive and a tough negotiator, and that will serve him well as Prime Minister.
He said: “He has the cool head under fire you need in the top job and he is, above all, someone the country can trust and rely upon. I’ve seen Jeremy Hunt close-up and it’s why he has my support to be our next Prime Minister.”
