Steve Brine took some time out of the House of Commons on Tuesday 25th June to show his support for Richard Ratcliffe.

Mr Ratcliffe is camped outside the Iranian Embassy, on hunger-strike, is support for his wife, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who is also on hunger strike in an Iranian jail. It is also just days after the fifth birthday of the couple’s daughter Gabriella, who has not been able to return to the UK since her mother’s arrest in April 2016.

Steve said: “I made my morning run a mission to the Iranian Embassy to meet Richard Ratcliffe who is on day 11 of his hunger strike. Turns out Richard and Nazanin were married in Winchester, and I wanted to offer my support and prayers.”
