Steve Brine visited St Cross on Saturday 29th June for a warm and sunny St Cross Fete.
The traditional event, held in the beautiful surroundings of the Hospital of St Cross, had a wide range of stalls, games and train rides and was sponsored by Carter Jones.
There was also entertainment from Winchester Morris Men, 1st Chandler’s Ford Boys’ Brigade Band, a Punch & Judy show and a Ukelele Band.
There were also teas, home-made cakes and ice cream, with all funds raised for the Parish of St Faith, Home Start Winchester and Winchester GOLD.
Steve Brine said; “It was great to pop along and soak up the special atmosphere while chatting to constituents who were clearly having a lovely afternoon. Great too to catch up with Cllr Fiona Mather and I look forward to meeting the raffle winners for a special Tea for Two in Parliament. Any other fetes interested in this prize just need to ask!”
