Steve Brine started a packed Winchester Half Marathon from the Guildhall on Sunday 22nd September.

The Winchester MP was asked once again to sound the hooter to start the popular event, which sees runners travel through the city centre and surrounding villages including Hursley, Oliver's Battery and take in St Catherine's Hill before finishing past the Cathedral back in the city centre.

Steve Brine said: “It was fantastic to once again get the start the Winchester Half Marathon from the steps of the Guildhall. What a beautiful route it is they get to run and I’ve seen so many proud and happy faces on social media as people made it over the finish line!”
