Steve Brine visited Alresford Road on Wednesday 18th September as he chatted to guests at the King Alfred Probus Club.
King Alfred Probus Club was founded in 1988 and represents a vibrant community of retired and semi-retired professionals who meet once a month to share fellowship over a good meal and listen to an interesting talk from an invited speaker.
The Club, which also has an active programme of events, outings and tours, heard their MP talk about his reflections from a near-decade in Parliament and representing his constituency, as well as his time spent working as a Minister inside Government. He also, of course, gave his thoughts on the current Brexit situation, as well as now being an Independent MP.
Steve said: “I had a great time talking to King Alfred Probus Club, and moving round table by table to reach everyone. As well as sharing my thoughts and experiences on the last few years, it was good to get such a wide-ranging and in-depth Q&A.”
