Local MP Steve Brine paid a visit to Kings Worthy Primary School this morning to meet students and staff as well as Headteacher, Jamie Dodson.
The Winchester MP spent time getting to know Mr Dodson, who joined the school last year following long-standing Head Julie Mulane, before popping into classes and meeting a number of the children. He also spent time in the main school hall chatting with catering team members and Reception Year children during their lunchtime.
Speaking after his visit, Steve said; "I know many of the children at Kings Worthy so it was nice to visit and see them in their school hard at work. It was really good to meet Jamie and to hear about the progress he has made since arriving at the school. He clearly has a lot to do but I think Kings Worthy is in very capable hands."
