Visit WestM whisper

In normal times, Steve Brine welcomes a steady stream of schools, colleges, and various other constituency groups to Westminster.

While that is not possible at the moment, the MP has come up with a special programme of events to give his constituents a visit to the House of Commons.

His new “Visit Westminster Virtually” events promise a glimpse behind normally closed doors and will include a Q&A session with the MP himself. If you run a local organisation, no matter how large or small, you can book your place and give your members a different experience.

Steve says; "I really miss meeting groups from Winchester & Chandler's Ford in Westminster and that is going to be the case for a while yet sadly. So I hope this new virtual visit will appeal and something constituents will really enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you!"

Hampshire Chronicle column - Farewell

Thursday, 30 May, 2024
My final column is perhaps more reflective than usual but I hope you will forgive me as I prepare to formally step down as Parliament is formally Dissolved ahead of the General Election on July 4. Fourteen years ago, in May 2010, I was first elected as our MP.
